Bragging Rites: The Carolina-Clemson Rivalry

Bragging Rites: The Carolina-Clemson Rivalry
"The most intense rivalry in college football." The Carolina-Clemson Rivalry occupies a unique place in South Carolina culture. Its name, familiar to every South Carolina native, brings to mind images of heroes, villains, friends, foes, drama, humor, shame and pride. South Carolina filmmakers Jeff Sumerel and Chris White have brought together past players, coaches, fans, and scholars from very diverse backgrounds to tell the story of the "Carolina-Clemson Game." Lyrical in story line, with a wealth of original and archival imagery "Bragging Rites" tells the history of The Rivalry through the actual and dramatized words of many of those people who have been an essential part of the story. The film is at once moving, funny, educational and even surprising - a touching, valuable archive. Special Features Include: Uncut Interviews With Lou Holts And Tommy Bowden, Scenes From The 100th Game, Deleted Scenes And Never-Before-Seen Footage From Clemson & USC Games Circa 1943.
