We Are Duke: The Official NCAA Championship Video (Full Frame)
For the third time in 11 years, the Duke Blue Devils stand atop the basketball world. Led by National Player of the Year and the 2001 Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, Shane Battier, Duke proved too strong, too poised, too determined for all in its path. Spearheaded by the slick play of dynamic point guard Jason Williams, Duke forged its way through the East Region, setting up a Final Four matchup with ACC foe Maryland. A team rich in talent and character, the Blue Devils showed their determination by overcoming a 22-point Terrapin lead in a classic tournament battle. A potent Arizona attack was all that remained in Duke's way. But Duke's weapons would ultimately be too much, as sharpshooting sophomore Mike Dunleavy electrified the crowd with a memorable 2nd-half performance, allowing coach Mike Krzyzewski to stake his claim as one of college basketball's all-time elite coaches. This tape includes: A recap of the entire 2001 NCAA Basketball Tournament, including extensive coverage of the Final Four and thrilling Championship Game. Exclusive post-Final interviews with Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Shane Battier, Jason Williams, and Mike Dunleavy. Exciting footage and camera angles not shown on TV. Exclusive history and analysis of the three-time NCAA National Champion Duke Blue Devils.
